Kiyoung is nephil and has abilities that surround EMPATHY, EMOTION MANIPULATION and MEMORY MANIPULATION. I will NOT involve any of his abilities in any threading beyond basic vague empathy ( a general sense of someone's emotions, not necessarily specific ) unless it's something we've discussed or if you've opted in your character for it. If you don't want to deal with even the empathy, no sweat either. Just comment here and let me know how much you're comfortable with! Kiyoung's abilities generally strengthen with physical proximity and with emotional openness the given character has, whether to other people in general or to Kiyoung specifically, i.e how much he is being trusted and "let in", whether consciously or not. Also with active consent, if someone just straight up lets him in consciously and willingly he can just get right in there. empath; passively receives emotions from others emotional manipulation; able to subtly influence and manipulate the emotions of those around him. memory access; able to view and access surface-level recent memories of others, and depending on the above factors is capable of delving in to some Deep Shit memory manipulation; able to specifically remove a given memory entirely, excising any and all traces of it. he is unable to really "return" or "give back" a memory once taken, most he can do is tell them about it again but it's not the same. he's unable to replace the memories, but most people's minds do kind of find a way to stitch themselves together over the gap, just some vague explanation for the missing time. the memories don't just disappear, and what kiyoung is really doing is taking them into himself, they will functionally become one of his own memories.
